Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 upon the straight path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
