۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
