The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
