But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 No, I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We have the ability 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
