The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the racers, panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
