The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 The piercing star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Most surely it is a decisive word, 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
