And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth: 34 'There is nothing but our first death; we shall not be revived. 35 Bring back to us our fathers if you are truthful.” 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We did not create them save with a purpose, yet most people have no knowledge of this. 39 Surely the day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 except those to whom Allah shows mercy. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate. 42
