Nay, by the Moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
