۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
