Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 and the severally severing 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
