The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
