The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
