The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
