Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had broken your back? 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
