The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
