The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Hast thou not seen how thy Lord did with the Men of the Elephant? 1 Did He not foil their strategy 2 And He sent against them swarms of birds 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 to turn them into (something) like the left-over grass grazed by cattle. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
