Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
