The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
