The people of Lut belied the sent ones. 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 Have fear of God and obey me. 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? No, but you are a transgressing nation' 166 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Lot, thou shalt assuredly be one of the expelled.' 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 We therefore rescued him and his entire family. 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 and rained down upon them a rain [of destruction]: and dire is such rain upon all who let themselves be warned [to no avail]! 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the left to display the Juz Table of Contents where you can go to any Juz, Hizb, ¾, ½, ¼, or any page within.
