O Ye who believe! take your precaution then sally forth in detachment or sally forth all together. 71 Lo! among you there is he who loitereth; and if disaster overtook you, he would say: Allah hath been gracious unto me since I was not present with them. 72 But if a bounty from God visits you, he will surely say, as if there had never been any affection between you and him, 'Would that I had been with them, to attain a mighty triumph!' 73 ۞ Those who barter the life of this world for the next should fight in the way of God. And We shall bestow on him who fights in the way of God, whether he is killed or is victorious, a glorious reward. 74 And what aileth you that ye fight not in the way of Allah and for the oppressed among men and women and children who say: our Lord! take us forth from this town whereof the people are wrong-doing, and appoint us from before Thee a patron, and appoint us from before Thee a helper! 75 Those who believe do battle for the cause of Allah; and those who disbelieve do battle for the cause of idols. So fight the minions of the devil. Lo! the devil's strategy is ever weak. 76
