When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 When they had journeyed further on, Moses said to his servant: "Bring us our repast. We are surely fatigued by today's journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
