Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
