[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand - those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed]. 71 But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path. 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 And had We not made thee firm [in faith,] thou might have inclined to them a little 74 In that case We should have made thee taste an equal portion (of punishment) in this life, and an equal portion in death: and moreover thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us! 75 They try to annoy you so that they can expel you from the land. Had they been successful, no one would have been left behind except a few. 76 This has been Our Way with the Messengers whom We sent before you. You will find no change in Our Way. 77
