He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 and ease my task for me. 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They said: Our Lord! Lo! we fear that he may be beforehand with us or that he may play the tyrant. 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
