We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
