It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
