The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
