The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
