Truly it is the revelation of the Lord of all Being, 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 or move during your prostration with the worshippers. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! 227
