۞ It is Allah Who created you in a state of weakness; then after weakness He gave you strength, then after strength He made you weak and old. He creates what He pleases. He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful. 54 And on the day when the Last Day is established, the guilty will swear that they did not stay except for an hour; this is how they keep straying. 55 But those who had been endowed with knowledge and faith shall say: “According to Allah's Record you have stayed till the Day of Resurrection. Now, this is the Day of Resurrection. But you did not know.” 56 So that will be the Day when the excuses of the wrong-doers will not avail them, nor will they be asked to make amends. 57 Verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if thou camest unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters! 58 In this way does God seal the hearts of those who do not [want to] know [the truth]. 59 so have patience [O Muhammad]! God's promise is true; let not those who will not be convinced make you discouraged. 60
