Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
