Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
