And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
