With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
