So, I call to witness what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
