Say: "I call on my Lord alone and I do not associate any one with Him." 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 except a deliverance from Allah and His Messages. He who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Gehenna, which he will be in for ever. 23 (They shall not change their ways) until they see that against which they had been warned, and then they will know whose helpers are weaker and whose supporters are fewer in number. 24 Say: "I do not know if what is promised you is near, or if my Lord prolongs its term. 25 "He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- 26 Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him 27 that He may know they have delivered the Messages of their Lord; and He encompasses all that is with them, and He has numbered everything in numbers.' 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
