Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 separating one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
