The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
