The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
