The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
