The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning hours 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
