Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
