The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
