The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
