The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
