And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
