WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 to replace them with others better than them: nothing can prevent Us from doing this, 41 So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised - 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
