Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
