No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 in Gardens they will question 40 about the guilty ones: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
