We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
